Ms Stubbs was born and raised in Jackson, Mississippi, where she received her undergraduate degree in psychology from the Home of the Tigers, Jackson State University. She obtained her graduate degree in Educational Leadership from Lamar University. Ms. Stubbs has a love for literacy and has spent her educational career working in middle school grades six through eight as well as serving as an instructional coach! 

Her greatest passion and commitment are to ensure students, families, and teachers receive support to continue to excel toward academic excellence. Ms. Stubbs enjoys spending time with her two children, decorating, and traveling with family and friends.
