 Stacia Graves

Stacia Graves is the Waverly Park Parent and Community Specialist for the 2019-2020 school year.  She is currently completing her master’s degree in Educational Leadership at the University of North Texas and will graduate this December.  Her undergraduate degree is also from the University of North Texas in Music Education.

                              Mrs. Graves has previously served as an educational consultant for the FWISD Choral and Elementary Music Department, coaching new teachers in multiple Ft. Worth ISD schools. Prior to that position, Mrs. Graves was a classroom music teacher and choral director for both Ft. Worth ISD and Birdville ISD for a total of 12 years.  During this time, she coordinated community performances and developed successful community partnerships in Ft. Worth working with the Bass Hall Children’s Education Program, Junior Achievement of Chisolm Trail, the Fort Worth City Council, Sundance Square, TCU, Cook Children’s Hospital and the Children’s Museum of Science and History and others.  Mrs. Graves was awarded the Bayard H. Friedman District Chair for Teaching Excellence in Performing Arts in 2016-2017 by the Bass Hall.

                              Encouraging reading and developing literacy is extremely important to Mrs. Graves.  She also believes in encouraging our campus values of respect, integrity and hard work!  Mrs. Graves is excited to support the teachers and families of Waverly park and challenges herself to work hard for the campus to bring new educational community partnerships to Waverly Park.
