Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2022, marks the 81st anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.  U.S. Code, Title 36, Chapter 1, requests the president to issue a proclamation requesting all flags be lowered to half-staff each National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day.

In anticipation of that order, the Fort Worth ISD will fly all United States flags at half-staff on Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2022, from sunrise until sunset, at all schools and other facilities. Because no other flag may be displayed higher than the U.S. flag, all other flags will also be flown at half-staff as well.
