COVID-19: Mask Mandate

COVID-19: MASK MANDATE

This afternoon, March 2, 2021, Governor Greg Abbott issued a new Executive Order (GA-34) regarding COVID-19, lifting the mask mandate in Texas and increasing capacity of all businesses and facilities in the state to 100 percent, effective next Wednesday.

However, as provided for in Governor Abbott’s Executive Order, and absent any new guidance from the Texas Education Agency, all current Fort Worth ISD protocols will remain in effect.

Here is a link to Fort Worth ISD Forward, outlining all of our COVID-19 guidelines.

On Thursday, June 25, 2020 Tarrant County Judge Glen Whitley issued an executive order requiring that all entites located in the county that provide goods or services must require a face mask for visitors and employees. The mandate takes effect Friday, June 25 and runs through, August 3, 2020.

Any parent, or student who visits North Side High School during this time must wear a mask. North Side staff will be on campus for summer hours, Monday- Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. through Aug. 3. The campus is closed on Fridays. If you have any questions, please call the NSHS main office: 817-814-4000.
