5 Scholarship Opportunities for Steers

SCHOLARSHIP DEADLINES BETWEEN FEB 22 - MAY 31

1) Women's Cyber Security Scholarships - $6,000 - 10 Awards (Deadline: February 22, 2021)

To be eligible for the scholarship a student must:

  1. Be pursuing, or plan to pursue, a degree with a focus on cybersecurity or information assurance.
  2. Be a senior in high school with a GPA of at least 3.3 on a 4.0 scale.
  3. Be attending full time or part time.

2) Jesse Brown Memorial Youth Scholarship - $20,000 – 8 Awards (Deadline: February 28, 2021)

To be eligible for the scholarship a student must:

  1. Be 21 or younger and plan on attending an accredited institution of higher learning,
  2. Have volunteered for a minimum of 100 hours in service to veterans.
  3. Be nominated by the Voluntary Service Program Managers at VA medical centers or members of DAV departments and chapters, or friends and family.

3) SP High School Scholarship - $10,000 - 10 Awards (Deadline: February 28, 2021)

To be eligible for the scholarship a student must:

  1. Be a high school student planning to attend college in September 2021.
  2. Answer the Essay question on the sponsors website.

4) Be Bold Scholarship - $25,000 - 1 Award (Deadline: February 28, 2021)

To be eligible for the scholarship a student must:

  1. Be in Grade 12 and plan on enrolling in college by the fall of 2021.
  2. Have a GPA of at least 2.5.

5) Microsoft Disability Scholarship - $20,000 – 10 Awards (Deadline: March 1, 2021)

To be eligible for the scholarship a student must:

  1. A) Be a current high school senior with living with a disability (as defined by WHO), whether that be visual, hearing, mobility, cognitive, speech or other disability.

6) AMVETS National Scholarships - $12,000 - 12 Awards (Deadline: April 30, 2021)

To be eligible for the scholarship a student must:

  1. Be a deserving high school senior or high school JROTC student.
  2. Must be enrolled or accepted for enrollment in the Fall of 2021.
