WHERE: Botanical Research Institute of Texas (BRIT), 1700 University Drive, Fort Worth, TX
WHO: Principal Baldwin Brown and his staff will be present to bring parents, students, and community members up-to-date on the new academy opening later this year.
SUMMARY: The principal and staff for Fort Worth ISD’s new I.M. Terrell Academy for STEM and VPA will conduct an informational meeting for students, parents and the general community on Tuesday, June 5, 2018.
The meeting will be held at the Botanical Research Institute of Texas (BRIT) located at 1700 University Drive in Fort Worth. The meeting will run from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The I.M. Terrell Academy for STEM and VPA will open to ninth grade students in August, 2018. Renderings of the new campus at 1411 I.M. Terrell Circle will be on display for the public to view.
The Fort Worth community will be introduced to the academic overview of I.M. Terrell Academy and meet the administrators and faculty who will be prepared to answer questions about the new facility and programming. Students not currently registered at I.M. Terrell are also welcome to attend, as there are a few remaining openings available for enrollment.
The rich history of the I.M. Terrell campus has been designed to provide a state of the art college preparatory academy for Fort Worth I.S.D. students with an emphasis in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math alongside Visual and Performing Arts. Graduates of the new I.M. Terrell Academy will be prepared to enter any college or university with the skills necessary to succeed.
