Fort Worth ISD Holds Summer Graduation for 200 Students
Two hundred Fort Worth ISD students received their high school diplomas Friday, August 12 in a special ceremony at Wilkerson-Greines Activity Center. The graduates, from schools across the District, completed commencement requirements over the summer. Each wore regalia representing his or her individual campuses.
Summer school allows students who were not quite finished with academic requirements in May to graduate before a new academic year begins.
Several board members, including Wallace Bridges, Anne Darr, C.J. Evans, Anael Luebanos, and Dr. Camille Rodriguez, and District administrators were on hand to congratulate the students on their success.
