Trimble Tech High School Celebrates Its First Century

Board President and Principal  What: Celebration of 100 years for the current Trimble Tech school building

When: Saturday, October 22, 2016, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Where: Trimble Tech High School, 1003 West Cannon, Fort Worth

Summary: On Saturday, October 22, 2016, Fort Worth ISD’s Trimble Tech High School will celebrate 100 years of service to the District and the Fort Worth community. 

The actual anniversary will occur with the graduation of the class of 2017. But former students and their families are taking the opportunity to celebrate this centennial now.

Activities will get underway at 10 a.m. in the school auditorium with the official welcome and the reading of proclamations. Other activities include:

11:00 AM –               Alumni photo on the front steps 

12:00 PM –               Class of 50’s & 60’s Reception – Cafeteria

                                Class of 70’s Reception – Inside GYM (2nd floor) John Gales Gymnasium

                                Class of 80’s Reception – Outside GYM – Shirlie Murphy Gymnasium

                                Class of 90’s Reception – Band Hall – Next to the Murphy Gymnasium

                                Class of 2000’s Reception – Auditorium (2nd floor)

                                Faculty and Staff (Past and Present) – Library (1st floor) 

2:00 PM -                  Men’s Athletics Reception – Inside GYM (2nd floor) John Gales Gym

                                Women’s Athletics Reception – Outside GYM – Shirlie Murphy Gymnasium

                                Band Reception – Band Hall – Next to the Murphy Gymnasium

                                Culinary Reception (Room 130) 

3:00 PM -                  ROTC Reception (Room 279)

                                Cheer and Dance Reception – Auditorium (2nd floor) 

4:00 PM -                  End of events

 

The Fort Worth ISD Board of Education officially recognized this important anniversary at the recent October 18 Board meeting by presenting a plaque to current Principal Omar Ramos.
