FWISD School-Based Markets Expand In Stop Six Community

March 5 marked the grand opening of the Village Market at J. Martin Jacquet Middle School, and we couldn't be more thrilled! This latest addition to FWISD's school-based markets aims to address food insecurity and offer vital resources to residents in need within our community. This market is made possible through a partnership between FWISD, Tarrant Area Food Bank, and the Rainwater Charitable Foundation.

The Village Market will operate on Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to noon and Thursdays from 5-7 p.m. Families can conveniently access the market through the exterior blue door located in front of the school. The market will offer a variety of essential items, including fresh fruits and vegetables, meat, dairy products, juices, canned and dried goods, as well as clothing.
