Superintendent Showcases a PLC Getting Results

Fort Worth, Texas - Fort Worth ISD Superintendent Kent P. Scribner went in search of great examples of Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) for his January message to teachers and staff.

He didn’t have to look any further than South Hi Mount Elementary School, where Principal Veronica Delgado and her team utilize every minute of their PLCs to plan, discuss instruction and monitor student outcomes.

Watch Dr. Scribner’s January message to see a PLC in action and how it impacts teaching and learning. And, you’ll want to be sure to watch to the very end!

Watch on YouTube or on the Districts web site.

The message is very timely as we enter the second semester. This is when teachers take what they’ve learned in summer and fall trainings and put it all together for a successful ending to the school year.
