Line Dance Kicks Off the Third-Annual Battle of the Boot

Fort Worth ISD’s Diamond Hill-Jarvis High School and North Side High School added a new twist to their friendly football rivalry known as the Battle of the Boot: a line dance contest.

To the tune of No Rompas Mas Mi Corazon (the Spanish version of Achy, Breaky Heart), students – many  in jeans, boots and cowboy hats – formed long lines in front of their respective high schools and rocked it.

The Steers of North Side and the Eagles of Diamond Hill-Jarvis square off at 7:30 p.m., Friday, September 22 at Farrington Field.  The winner will be awarded the wooden Boot trophy.
