Trimble Tech hosts Noche de Ciencias "Science Night” with Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers

The Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) hosted its sixth annual Noche de Ciencias “Science Night” at Trimble Tech High School, on

Tuesday, October 3, for about 70 students and their parents.

The event began with a keynote speaker from Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, followed by student and parent workshops.

Noche de Ciencias allows students to engage with Lockheed Martin professionals and TCU SHPE college students and learn what engineers do in their chosen careers. This unique event also prepare students to become future leaders. They engage in business networking, learn about college internships or work programs, as well as begin to build their resumes for future STEM careers.

This event is jointly hosted by the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Fort Worth Professional Chapter and TCU SHPE college chapter. The college chapter leadership includes Trimble Tech High School alumni.
