Look Who’s Talking about the FWISD Penny Swap/Bond Elections
Leaders from throughout the Fort Worth community join Fort Worth ISD Superintendent Kent Scribner in a new video that provides information about the November 7 Penny Swap and Bond Dual Elections.
Mayor Betsy Price, Tarrant County College Chancellor Eugene Giovannini, Fort Worth ISD School Board President Tobi Jackson and Board Member Jacinto Ramos are among those addressing the two propositions that will be on the ballot.
Proposition A is a Penny Swap tax authorization. Proposition B is the proposed $750 million bond program. If approved, neither of these propositions will result in a tax rate increase for citizens.
The election is Tuesday, November 7. Early voting runs October 23 through November 3.
