College 101 Aims to Equip Families with Tools for College

College 101, a one-stop shop for information on preparing, planning and paying for college will be hosted at North Side High School from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 8.

The free, two-hour bilingual workshop, sponsored by the Hispanic Scholarship Fund, is open to families. 

This is the first time College 101 is being hosted in Fort Worth. Sessions topics will include preparing and paying for college, applying for scholarships and researching financial aid.

A light dinner and refreshments will be served. There are also drawings for door prizes slated.

Bus transportation for families is being provided at 5 p.m., Nov. 8, with a 9 p.m. return arrival at the following Fort Worth ISD campuses:

  • O.D. Wyatt high School
  • Trimble Tech High School
  • Diamond Hill-Jarvis High School
  • Carter-Riverside High School
  • South Hills High School
  • Polytechnic High School
