Congratulations to CTE Electrical Technologies teacher Ronnie Cope and his five students who signed a letter of intent to attend the IEC Independent Electrical Contractors 4-year school with a paid apprenticeship job for all 4 years with good pay! At the completion of this--mostly paid for by the companies--apprentices will be able to test for journeyman electrician license and will have earned at least 40 hours of college credit towards an Associate's Degree from Dallas Community College. The students who signed and received the offers were: Rodolfo Suarez, Nicholas Borjon, Armando Gonzalez, Jonathan Marmolejo, and Adxel Melgar.

IEC has many electrical contractor partners who provide jobs for electricians and at least three of those companies were present to offer jobs and training as well as serving as partners with Trimble Tech Electrical Technology to provide materials and other assistance. These 3 major companies currently have our graduates working for them at this time:

Way to go, Bulldogs! What an awesome way to make your CTE pathway work for your future!!
