3 Students Received Tickets to Mavericks Game
L-R: CTE Welding Teacher Brian Fields, Jonathan, Lance, Jayla
A charitable organization, acting on behalf of an anonymous donor, is sending three of our students and one staff member to the Dallas Mavericks game tonight, Wednesday, November 20, 2019. Our students will sit next to the Maverick basketball players in front row, court side seats! We encourage everyone to watch the Dallas Mavericks game tonight at 6:30 PM vs The Golden State Warriors to see these wonderful Bulldog students enjoying the game!!!!!
The donor wished to recognize students who have overcome difficult circumstances and hardships to excel in the areas of academics, effort, improvement, leadership and service. Each of the Bulldog students selected exemplify the characteristics listed above.
Lance is a senior student who has never let any circumstances or challenges prevent him from being successful academically. Lance works hard to maintain high academic marks and is a very hard working and humble student.
Jonathan is a junior student who increasingly challenges himself beyond what is required of him. He is a self-motivator, and doesn't allow anything to keep him from enjoying his work and contribution to his classes. Teachers have stated that he is often overlooked because of his calm and quiet demeanor, and he deserves recognition for his consistent determination.
Jayla is a senior student who is very active in theatre arts. She had carried leading roles in school plays, takes a leadership role as an officer of the drama club, and mentors younger students. Jayla is described as a honest, hardworking, WONDERFUL kid, among the first to volunteer to help others, and ALWAYS has a sunny disposition and is respectful and dependable.
Mr. Brian Fields just joined us last year as a welding instructor (Splitting his time between our campus and another FWISD campus.) He has been working to modernize our welding program and expand it, to the point where we anticipate the need for two full-time welding instructors.
On behalf of the entire Trimble Technical High School staff and students, we thank the generosity of the anonymous philanthropist for recognizing these students and providing them with a once-in-a-lifetime experience that they are sure to cherish.
