Bulldogs Receive Recognitions, Awards

Freemason awardSeveral members of Fort Worth's South Side Masonic Lodge #1114 visited Trimble Tech this afternoon to recognize two outstanding students and teachers and present them with a special award.

Mr. B.J. Young is a member of the Freemasons and a graduate of Trimble Technical High School. Mr. Young and other Masons presented their inaugural "Honesty and Integrity Award" to members of our student body and faculty.

Ramos + BrosiusJunior students Angela Benitez and Alondra Oropeza were selected to receive the awards. Mr. Young presented each with a certificate, a check and a token key from the Masons. Benitez is a HST (Health Science Technology) student at TTHS. Oropeza is studing Engineering. Both students have yet to decide on their college plans. 

Two members of the TTHS faculty also recieved awards for their dedication to students and the teaching profession: Freshman team teacher Ms. Corri Brosius and U.S. History teacher, baseball coach and assistant football coach Mr. James Reid. Principal Ramos introduced the teachers to the group and explained how their committment to the classroom is a part of the culture at Trimble Tech.Freemasons group

Following the award presentations, the group discussed future opportunities including awards, community service and possible scholarship support.
