FWISD Annual College Night Set for September 16
What: 2019 annual College Night - a chance for students and parents to meet with representatives of higher education institutions
When: Monday, September 16, 2019, seminars at 5:45 and 6:45 p.m.; Browsing area open from 6 to 8 p.m.
Where: Texas Room at Amon G. Carter, Jr. Exhibit Hall, 3400 Burnett-Tandy Drive, Fort Worth
Summary: High school students, along with their parents, are invited to attend Fort Worth ISD’s 2019 annual “College Night” on Monday, September 16, 2019. College Night will be held in the Texas Room at Amon G. Carter, Jr. Exhibit Hall, 3400 Burnett-Tandy Drive, Fort Worth.
The browsing area is open from 6 to 8 p.m.
College Night is a mall of educational opportunities, with multiple colleges, universities and institutions from around Texas and across the nation ready to recruit new students.
This event offers “one-stop shopping” for higher education including financial aid seminars, a discussion on scholarships available in Tarrant County and college admissions details. The seminars begin at 5:45 and 6:45 p.m. The programs are free and will be available in English and Spanish.
Transportation will be available for students at each high school. Free parking is available in the parking lots behind Farrington Field, and FWISD will provide free shuttle service to the event from the Farrington Field parking lots. There is a parking fee for lots around the Amon G. Carter, Jr. Exhibit Hall.
