FWISD Seeks Parent Input On Middle School Course Offerings
(Tuesday, March 23, 2021) -- Fort Worth ISD parents: we want to hear from you about middle school course offerings.
The District’s Curriculum Policy Department is hosting two one-hour virtual events, March 25 and 30, that allow parents to offer feedback about middle school courses offerings for the 2022-2023 academic year and beyond. The March 25 event will take place at noon, and the March 30 session begins at 5:30 p.m.
“Parent input is important as we examine our course offerings at the middle school level,” said Maria Phillips, FWISD Curriculum Policy director.
The District currently offers the following middle school courses at campuses throughout the District:
- Algebra I
- Geometry
- English I
- Biology
- Integrated Physics and Chemistry
- Special Topics In Social Studies: Geography Themes and Perspectives
- Spanish I-IV
- AP Spanish Language and Culture
- French I
- German I
- Latin I
- Japanese I
- Art I
- General Employability Skills
- Touch Systems Data Entry
- Professional Communications
- Project Lead The Way
