Fort Worth Business Leaders To Visit Trimble Tech February 11

Fort Worth business professionals will tour Trimble Tech High School, Tuesday, February 11.

The tour is the one of many slated this school year in which business leaders will visit Fort Worth high schools for a glimpse at how the future workforce is being educated and trained. Tours are organized by the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce and Fort Worth ISD’s Strategic Communications Division and Career and Technical Education Department with the intent of creating more opportunities for business leaders to engage with the District’s Programs of Choice and CTE programs.

Beginning at 10 a.m., representatives from local businesses will observe students participating in Trimble Tech’s health science, construction, electrical, welding and culinary programs and also ask questions.

This is the second time staffers from local businesses have toured the programs at Fort Worth ISD high schools this year. In January, nearly a dozen business professionals toured culinary, engineering and automotive repair classrooms at North Side High School.  The tour concluded with North Side culinary students preparing lunch for their guests.

Another tour is scheduled at Dunbar High School later this month.
