FWISD Schools Attend Annual Waterama
Fort Worth ISD third and fourth graders heard from professionals about the importance of water at the annual Waterama event, May 22 and 23.
The Fort Worth Water Department-sponsored event welcomed students from 30 District elementary schools to the Will Rogers Memorial Center Exhibit Hall where stations were set up by local agencies. The stations showed students the importance of water conservation, quality and safety.
Students learned about what creatures live in water, and where water comes from, where it goes, why it’s needed and how to be respectful of it.
