Kevin Lynch Joins Board After June 10 Runoff Election Results Canvass
The Fort Worth ISD welcomes its new District 5 trustee, Kevin Lynch.
Election results from the June 10 runoff race were canvassed and accepted by FWISD’s Board of Education on Wednesday, June 21. With his family at his side, Mr. Lynch officially took the oath of office to lead District 5 this week at FWISD’s Professional Development Center. His term is for four years.
"I'm excited about doing what's best for kids in Fort Worth ISD," Mr. Lynch said. "I've got five kids ... and I want to take care of them, and I want to take care of every kid in this District and do what's right by them."
As the District 5 trustee, Mr. Lynch represents Arlington Heights High School, Transition Center, William Monnig Middle School, W.C. Stripling Middle, Success High School, SPED Private/Homeschool, Boulevard Heights School, Burton Hill Elementary School, Leadership Academy at Como Elementary, North Hi Mount Elementary, Mary Louise Phillips Elementary, South Hi Mount Elementary, Tanglewood Elementary, and Overton Park Elementary.
