What: Williamson-Dickies will present students at Trimble Tech High School with school logoed backpacks and Career and Technical Education (CTE clothing).

Summary: On Friday, January 11, 2018, the Williamson-Dickie Manufacturing Company will provide school logoed backpacks to students at Fort Worth’s ISD’s Trimble Tech High School. In addition, Dickies will provide students in three of the school’s Career and Technical Education courses (CTE) with uniform-type clothing, bearing the school logo, to wear either at school or at competition events.
The company will provide uniform shirts or pants to three CTE areas - Auto Collision, Auto Technology and Welding. Auto Collision and Auto Technology students will be receiving Dickies shirts with the Trimble Tech logo. Welding students will receive new welding work pants (jeans). And later in the spring semester, Health Science Technology and Culinary Arts students will be receiving new scrubs and new chef coats and hats. Other CTE programs will also be getting shirts or pants (uniforms with logos) during the spring semester as well.
This event begins a new partnership between the FWISD and Williamson-Dickies as part of the company’s Purpose Commitment to the Community.
Students will receive the new gear during one of two assemblies. Super intendent Kent P. Scribner will attend the first assembly which starts at 9:40 a.m. The second will start at 11:05 a.m. Both assemblies will be held in the school’s auditorium.
