(Fort Worth, Texas) – The Fort Worth ISD has scheduled a Special Election for November 5, 2019, to fill the District 4 representative seat vacated by the retirement of long-time member Dr. T.A. Sims.
The Board approved the election order at its Tuesday, August 13, 2019 meeting.
Based on the election timeline, the first day to file as a candidate for this office is Wednesday, August 14. The last day to file for the office is Wednesday, September 4, 2019, at 5 p.m.
Drawing for a place on the ballot will take place on Monday, September 9, at 5:30 p.m. in the Fort Worth ISD Board Room at 2903 Shotts Street.
Early voting in person will take place at designated polling locations beginning October 21 and running through November 1.
