Fort Worth ISD Extends Deadline for Applicants for the Tarrant Appraisal District Board Of Directors Representative
The Fort Worth ISD is continuing to seek applications for a nominee to represent the District on the Tarrant County Appraisal District Board of Directors (TAD Board). The TAD Board oversees the function of the Tarrant County Appraisal District.
TAD Board members are appointed by the taxing units (the districts within its jurisdiction) to two-year terms. The Board consists of five directors and the county assessor-collector, who is not a voting member of the Board.
The FWISD Board of Education has designated a timeline and candidate selection process for identification of nominees to serve as a Member of the TAD Board. The timeline and selection process provide an equitable and transparent method that includes the following key elements:

- Two-step Application Process:
- Complete electronic Candidate Application form –FWISD TAD Member Candidate Application (application deadline is 5 p.m., September 3, 2020
- Send your cover letter and resume to Coleman@fwisd.org.
- Board of Education review and finalist candidate selection.
- Finalist candidate opportunity to address the public.
The FWISD Board of Education will make its finalist selection as early as September 10, 2020.
