FWISD Crowns 2021 Math Bee Champions

(Friday, April 30, 2021) -- The Fort Worth ISD is buzzing because it’s crowned the District’s 2021 Math Bee champions.

The District hosted the third annual competition virtually April 29-30, and crowned champions in the third, fourth and fifth grades.  The District competition consists of two divisions – Division 1 which includes third grade competitors and Division 2 which includes fourth and fifth grade contenders.

The Math Bee is a number sense and fluency competition that challenges busy elementary mathematician bees to problem solve using mental math. The 2021 theme was “Buzzing Around the Hive.”
