Fort Worth ISD Paschal Swimmer Sets School Record; Will Head to State Competition
An R. L. Paschal High School swimmer is headed to the UIL State Swimming and Diving Championships later this month after setting a new school record on Saturday, February 2 at the regional competition.
Ian Neville placed first in the 100-meter free and set a new Paschal High School record of 46.72 seconds at the 6-A Region 1 Swimming and Diving Championships. The event was held at the 1,500-seat Pete Ragus Aquatic Center in Lubbock.
The swimmer will compete in the UIL championships February 15-16 at the Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swim Center on the University of Texas at Austin campus.
