TEXAS PLUS POLICY FELLOWSHIP LOOKING FOR GREAT TEACHERS
Fort Worth ISD teachers have the opportunity to become part of the fifth cohort of the Teach Plus Policy Fellowship.
This fellowship is a paid, 12-month commitment that trains educators to confidently share their voice and experiences in the education policy world, from the local level all the way up through the national level. Teachers will have the opportunity to meet face-to-face (or Zoom camera to Zoom camera) with state legislators, policy experts, and other Texas decision-makers through their monthly meetings.
They will also have the opportunity to testify on policy issues that are important to them and their students and work with peers across the state to strategize for systemic growth and advance the teaching profession as a whole.
This opportunity is open to any and all classroom teachers and there is no policy experience required! Teachers can apply using this link on the Policy Fellowship website. Anyone can nominate an excellent teacher by applying here. The deadline is April 19, 2021.
