Gold Seal Programs Energize Middle School Students about Engineering

Students who want to know how things work and who love solving puzzles may find their perfect middle school pathway in a Fort Worth ISD Gold Seal Engineering Program of Choice.

Watch this short video narrated by former Star-Telegram columnist Bob Ray Sanders and see how students collaborate to engineer solutions at:

  • William James Middle School – STEM Academy
  • Leonard Middle School – Project Lead the Way
  • Meacham Middle School – Robotics
  • Meadowbrook Middle School – STEM Preparatory Academy
  • Wedgwood 6th – Pre-Engineering
  • Wedgwood Middle School – Pre-Engineering

Projects include building robots and rockets, delving into mechanical and electrical systems, learning to print in 3-D, and even creating an app.
