Gold Seal Wait List Status Now Available
Students may officially inquire about their Gold Seal wait list status for the 2019-2020 school year.
Officials with Fort Worth ISD’s Gold Seal Programs and Schools of Choice officially began fielding nonstop email and phone requests about student wait list rankings, Tuesday, March 19.
As space becomes available, students will be notified and assigned to Gold Seal programs in the order in which they’re ranked. Notifications will be sent through the first of May.
When inquiring about your Gold Seal wait list ranking, students and/or parents must provide the following information:
- The student applicant’s full name
- The student’s FWISD identification number, if applicable
- The program and/or campus the student applied for
All elementary school inquires may be emailed to Charles Harris, Elementary POC coordinator, at charles.harris@fwisd.org. Email Karen Ponder, Secondary POC coordinator, at karen.ponder@fwisd.org with any secondary school requests.
The Programs of Choice office is still accepting online late applications for the 2019-2020 school year through September for schools with available spaces or opportunities for potential spaces to open. Students submitting a late application may only apply for one program.
Gold Seal Programs of Choice and Schools of Choice appeal to student interests and passions and equip students with skills to thrive in college and the workforce. The rigorous program categories include engineering, agriculture, business administration, fine arts, government and law, health science, hospitality, marketing, public safety, technology, visual and graphic arts and STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) just to list a few. The programs allow students to finish high school college-and-career-ready and with opportunities to obtain multiple college credits, licensures and certifications.
