Fort Worth ISD Juniors Are Encouraged To Register For Free SAT, ACT Tests
What: Free SAT and ACT Testing
When: March 3, 2021 for the SAT and March 30, 2021 for the ACT
Where: All Fort Worth ISD high schools
(Friday, February 5, 2021) -- All Fort Worth ISD juniors, in an effort to ensure college readiness, are eligible to participate in FREE SAT and ACT testing at their local high school.
The college entrance tests, administered in-person on March 3 for the SAT and March 30 for the ACT, start at 8 a.m. Students are encouraged to take these tests as early as their junior year because higher education staff use the scores to make college admissions, as well as, scholarship decisions.
Tests administered at FWISD campuses are the same as those administered at a general testing site. Below are the District organized test benefits:
- There is no cost to the student
- The test is held during the school day
- The test is administered in a familiar environment
For additional questions or support, students are encouraged to contact their campus Postsecondary Success Specialist or The Collegiate Programming and Advisement Department at 817-814-1560.
