Favorite Part of the Experience: Last night on our drive from Fort Worth to Dallas, I looked at these bright and wonderful kids on a voyage to a place they had never been, and already I knew that we were taking our precious time and priceless life energy to go together and grow and make the absolute most of our day.  We were only in the car on I-30 eastbound and it was electric with that feeling that things are all about the experience of being all we can in a day that can’t be replaced.

I loved being there with those three last night.  Going to the AAC in any capacity is always a treat.  Last night was something incredibly special.  I am so grateful to the kindness of all the staff and people that helped us.  My desire to explore and to share and to drink deeply of life was flooded with the amount of brilliance in the atmosphere, the astonishment on the faces of the students, and the overall wonder of what was not doubt one of the most awesome experiences I’ve ever had.

For me and the students combined, there is an irreplaceable lesson to be born from a day like the day we shared together on the 23rd of October.  Life is full of miracles and gifts.  Everyone there saw without question the work that was put into all the success we saw from players to coaches and the many professionals we spoke with and people who work hard for the facility and NBA game to run well and successfully.  I am left forever reminded how life’s gifts aren’t available without the will to give of oneself and to devote our lives and energies to build a world of miracles and gifts, together.  I am so grateful to those who choose to provide such transformative experiences to others, and it is my commitment that we use this inspiration forever for the good that we are intended to do.

Favorite Part of the Experience:  Thank you so much for inviting me to the Maverick’s game.  I had a really fun time and it was super fun.  I am extremely grateful.  This has inspired me to do better in school and to keep getting good grades.  My favorite part was when we went to our seats.  Our seats were in the front row and we were so close to the players.  My other favorite part was going to the gift shop. I really enjoyed watching the game and seeing the people dance as well.  I had a really fun time, thank you.
