Red Ribbon Week 10/25-10/29

October 25th to 29th our school will be celebrating Red Ribbon Week, which is an alcohol, tobacco, and other drug and violence prevention awareness campaign, observed annually in October in the United States. The Red Ribbon represents a unified and visible commitment towards the creation of a DRUG FREE AMERICA.

At Manuel Jara Elementary we will celebrate with the following activities:

Monday 10/25-  Wear your school spirit shirt

Tuesday 10/26- Wear crazy hair and crazy socks 

Wednesdasy 10/27- Dress up on Western gear

Thursday 10/28- Wear a black shirt 

Friday 10/29- Dress as your favorite story book character
