Wintry Weather Expected Mid-Week
Fort Worth, Texas – Local weather forecasters are predicting the possibility of possibility of snow, sleet, and icy rain by the middle of this week.
The Fort Worth ISD is already monitoring local weather forecasts. District emergency operations and transportation personnel will be in touch with national, state and local agencies as the weather develops in the next 24-48 hours. Wind chills will be in the 20’s with air temperatures below freezing by Wednesday morning.
If schools are in session, doors will be open early so students will be able to get out of the elements as soon as they arrive. Heating systems will be up and running even overnight so as to have buildings already warm.
