FWISD Superintendent Prepares Families for a Busy Summer and Exciting 2021-2022

Learning will be in-person in Fort Worth ISD when school starts August 16. That’s the first of Superintendent Kent P. Scribner’s important updates in his June message to teachers, staff, and families.

In the video, two pre-Kindergarten students at Woodway Elementary School delightfully help Dr. Scribner spread the word. Courtney and Lili show how they’re preparing for a summer of learning ahead of a successful new school year.

Other updates and reminders in the video include:

  • Now is the time to register all children for fall.
  • New towers will bring strong Wi-Fi to several neighborhoods that have had inadequate internet access.
  • High school students will return to new collaborative learning spaces, modern labs, and state-of-the-art career centers and studios.

Be sure to watch the video to the very end!
