If I am hired after the calendar start date for my position how is my pay calculated?

Posted by:

Your pay is based on the total number of days worked in the SY.

Example:
Employee is scheduled to work 187 days per year.
The employee was hired after the calendar start date and will work less than the 187 days scheduled.

Multiply your anticipated number of days worked by your daily rate to identify your prorated annual salary. Now, the prorated annual salary will be divided by the number of months remaining in the school year to get your monthly rate.
